How to choose an infrared multi-touch screen. An infrared multi-touch screen is an electronic device that uses a dense infrared matrix in the X and Y directions to detect and locate human touch gestures. The infrared touch screen is equipped with a circuit board frame in front of the display. The circuit board arranges infrared emitting tubes and infrared receiving tubes on the four sides of the screen to form a horizontal and vertical cross infrared matrix in a one-to-one correspondence, as shown in the schematic diagram. When the finger touches the screen, it will block the horizontal and vertical two infrared rays passing through the position, so the coordinate position of the touch point on the screen can be judged. Any non-transparent objects can change the infrared rays on the contacts to realize touch screen operation. In the early conception, infrared touch screens had technical limitations such as low resolution, limited touch methods, and susceptibility to environmental interference and misoperation, and thus faded out of the market. Since then, the second-generation infrared screen has partially solved the problem of anti-light interference, and the third and fourth generations have also improved their resolution and stability.

The obvious advantages of infrared touch screen and capacitive resistance screen are that they are not interfered by current, voltage and static electricity, and are suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Infrared technology is the mainstream development trend of touch screen products. Touch screens using acoustics and other material science technologies have their own insurmountable barriers, such as damage to a single sensor, aging, fear of contamination of the touch interface, destructive use, and complicated maintenance. As long as the infrared touch screen truly achieves high stability and high resolution, it will replace other technical products and become the mainstream of the touch screen market.

The true multi-point infrared touch screen is a touch product relative to the single-point infrared screen and the virtual two-point infrared screen. It is a technological innovation of the infrared touch screen. Its principle is mainly based on the software algorithm in the firmware to solve more than two points. At the same time, the touch operation does not interfere. The difference between real two points and virtual two points is manifested in high stability and fast response, and there will be no misoperations such as jumping points and running points.

Infrared detection technology used in touch screen technology has three main technical difficulties:

First: Ambient light factors. The infrared receiver tube has a working range between the minimum sensitivity and maximum illuminance, but touch screen products cannot limit the range of use, from dark karaoke rooms to outdoor use under high-intensity sunlight in Hainan Island, as a product , It must adapt. At present, infrared screen manufacturers that can resist direct sunlight have gradually emerged on the market.

Second: Response speed. Since 2008, infrared technology has developed rapidly, and the response speed has been below 15ms.

Third: signal diffraction, surrounding reflection, refraction, interference. The infrared transmitter tube has a launch angle, and the receiver tube has a larger receiving angle. If the surrounding reflection is to a certain extent, the signal can't be blocked by placing your finger, right. Proper adjustment of its power can achieve precise touch.
